Yervant S. Malkhassian
Mr. Malkhassian is an associate in the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group, where he represents clients in a broad range of complex business disputes. His practice includes shareholder and partnership disputes, creditor-side bankruptcy matters, property-related disputes, and other commercial litigation matters. He is involved in all stages of litigation, with an emphasis on motion practice designed to control the pace and direction of a dispute.
Mr. Malkhassian also works with the firm’s Corporate Transactions Practice Group on a variety of transactional matters, including the M&A sale process.
Separately, Mr. Malkhassian maintains an estate planning practice serving individuals and families across a range of wealth profiles. His work includes the preparation of wills and trusts, as well as sophisticated estate planning and tax strategies for high-net-worth clients.
Mr. Malkhassian earned his undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School. While at Southwestern, he served as a staff member of the Southwestern Law Review, where he authored a note examining the intersection of generative artificial intelligence and intellectual property law.
He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2025 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
