Yervant S. Malkhassian

Mr. Malkhassian is an associate in the firm’s Business and Civil Litigation Practice Group.

He earned his undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2021, and his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School. He was admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California in 2025.

While at Southwestern, Mr. Malkhassian served as a staff member of the Southwestern Law Review, during which time he authored a note examining the robust entanglement between generative artificial intelligence and intellectual property law.

Prior to law school, Mr. Malkhassian worked as an associate at a boutique investment advisory firm, where he assisted middle-market businesses across a range of industries with sell-side mergers and acquisitions.

Congratulations to Director, STEVE PASAROW, recipient of the ABOTA Lifetime Achievement Award!

It is with great pride and excitement that we share the news that Steve Pasarow has been named the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). This is the highest honor bestowed by the Los Angeles Chapter. This award recognizes members who have demonstrated a lifetime of excellence, integrity, and leadership in the legal profession. The award will be presented at the President’s Installation Dinner on January 23, 2026.

Throughout Steve’s distinguished career, he has exemplified the very best of our profession, providing exceptional counsel to clients, mentoring numerous attorneys, and contributing meaningfully to the broader legal community. This recognition is a testament not only to Steve’s professional achievements but also to the values of dedication, excellence, and service that he brings to KPC every day.
