Elen Hakobyan

Ms. Hakobyan is an Associate Attorney at Knapp, Petersen & Clarke, where she practices in the firm’s insurance defense department. Before joining the firm as an attorney, Ms. Hakobyan served as a litigation paralegal at Knapp, Petersen & Clarke, where she developed hands-on experience assisting in all phases of civil litigation.

Ms. Hakobyan earned her bachelor’s degree in jurisprudence from the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University. During her legal studies, she completed internships with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, where she built a strong foundation in legal research, legal analysis, and the practical application of the law.

She later earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and was subsequently admitted to the State Bar of California.

Congratulations to Director, STEVE PASAROW, recipient of the ABOTA Lifetime Achievement Award!

It is with great pride and excitement that we share the news that Steve Pasarow has been named the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). This is the highest honor bestowed by the Los Angeles Chapter. This award recognizes members who have demonstrated a lifetime of excellence, integrity, and leadership in the legal profession. The award will be presented at the President’s Installation Dinner on January 23, 2026.

Throughout Steve’s distinguished career, he has exemplified the very best of our profession, providing exceptional counsel to clients, mentoring numerous attorneys, and contributing meaningfully to the broader legal community. This recognition is a testament not only to Steve’s professional achievements but also to the values of dedication, excellence, and service that he brings to KPC every day.
