K.L. Myles

K.L. Myles is a Director and Vice President with the firm. Ms. Myles’ practice focuses on labor and employment, wage and hour, commercial, and business litigation. She previously served as a summer intern with Knapp, Petersen & Clarke.

Originally from Los Angeles, Ms. Myles graduated from Rice University in Houston, Texas, with degrees in art history, ancient Mediterranean civilizations, and French. She received her juris doctorate from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Myles is also a graduate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Los Angeles Chapter’s Trial School.

Ms. Myles has successfully represented clients in all phases of litigation and has tried cases both in state and federal court; she has obtained favorable verdicts in both jury and bench trials. Ms. Myles was class counsel and trial counsel in two rare class action trials both of which resulted in findings of liability and multi-million dollar verdicts.

Ms. Myles also has significant appellate experience, including argument in front of the California Supreme Court. Ms. Myles has briefed and argued in state and federal court across California and the country, resulting in nine reported decisions.

Ms. Myles is active in civic and community affairs. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Glendale Bar Association, having served four terms as a Board Member. She previously served a multi-year term on the board of a Los Angeles-area charter school.
