Ms. Doust is an Associate Attorney at Knapp, Petersen & Clarke. Her area of practice includes civil litigation, automobile accident and premises liability defense. She earned her LLB from prestigious Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU) School of Law. As a dual Bar Admission holder in both California, United States (2021) and Tehran, Iran (2008), Ms. Doust has leveraged, her top ranking LLM in Public International Law from Azad University School of Law, and honors-level LLM in ADR from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law to provide empathetic and zealous advocacy for her clients. Ms. Doust’s ability to see multiple perspectives as a Master of Philosophy in Peace Studies and Conflict Transformation graduate from the Arctic University of Norway and a mediator serving on distinguished panels, has earned her great accolades in the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) community, particularly the Superior Court of California’s Certificate of Appreciation for rendering services during the 2020 Pandemic.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Doust displayed resiliency through her career journey as she left her own law practice focused on civil litigation and family law and reputable clients such as a major telecommunication services company, to advance her peacebuilding skills in Norway, taking on volunteer work at Save the Children Organization and focusing her thesis on the UN legal responsibility for human rights violations committed by its peacekeepers. Her journey in ADR and law advanced to the US, where she served the legal industry in multiple capacities while pursuing her studies at USC and earning the Dean’s Academic Excellence Award.
Ms. Doust is a Karate Black-Belt in-training and a meditation practitioner, both of which allow her to find balance and serve her clients with a set intention and mindfulness.
