Edwin Akopyan is an Associate at Knapp, Petersen, & Clarke. He earned his associate degree in paralegal studies and acquired an ABA approved paralegal certificate from Pasadena City College in 2010. During his paralegal studies courses, Mr. Akopyan clerked for the Glendale Courthouse, Civil Division. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University of Northridge in 2015. During his tenure, Mr. Akopyan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Michael K. Kellog of the Los Angeles Superior Court, Van Nuys.
Mr. Akopyan received his juris doctor degree from Whittier Law School in 2018. He was awarded an Admission Merit Scholar, was on the dean’s list, the honor roll, a member of the Armenian Law Society, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received numerous Cali Awards in various areas of law. While in law school, Mr. Akopyan was a law clerk with The Law Office of Henry Harutunian, practicing in personal injury.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Akopyan’s practice included employment law, lemon law, and personal injury. His current area of practice is automobile accidents.
Mr. Akopyan was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2021 and is an active member of the American Bar Association.
