PETER J. SENUTY
Born in Bellingham, Washington, Mr. Senuty attended Stanford University, where he was awarded a bachelor of arts degree in history, with distinction. He received his juris doctor from Stanford Law School. Mr. Senuty was admitted to the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Since joining the firm and becoming a director, Mr. Senuty formed and developed the firm’s Insurance Coverage Group and is the senior member of that group. He has broad experience in insurance coverage analysis, declaratory relief and bad faith litigation, and appellate practice in state and federal courts. Mr. Senuty has frequently conducted seminars for insurance company claims personnel on insurance coverage issues, settlement strategies, and claims practices. Mr. Senuty has also taught courses to attorneys and claims personnel on legal and insurance ethics.
Mr. Senuty is a member the American Bar Association (Section on Torts and Insurance Practice), the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Conference of Insurance Counsel, and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
