MITCHELL B . LUDWIG Mr. Ludwig, a director of the firm, was born in Passaic, New Jersey. He attended Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, and in 1981 received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Hofstra University School of Business. He earned his juris doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1984, where he graduated cum laude and was both the managing editor and a member of the Executive Board of Editors of the Southwestern University Law Review. Mr. Ludwig was admitted to practice before the California State Bar in December 1984. Mr. Ludwig’s practice includes all areas of litigation, with an emphasis in commercial lending and real estate law, receivership litigation, prejudgment and postjudgment collection remedies, landlord-tenant disputes, lender liability defense, bankruptcy, and complex business litigation. Mr. Ludwig also has substantial trial and appellate experience. In addition to the California State Bar, Mr. Ludwig is admitted to practice before United States District Courts, Eastern District and Northern District of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
