Karen L. Scott is an auditor with KPC Legal Audit Services, Inc..  Her experience, since 1985, in the legal field includes serving as the office administrator for a construction defect law firm.  She also worked as a legal assistant at Avery Dennison corporate offices, specializing in intellectual property law.  Her experience in audit work is extensive, beginning in 1997 and including work on behalf of government entities, including with the State of California Attorney General’s office, as well as an ongoing audit of many millions of dollars in expert billing.  Ms. Scott has personally audited billings of over $250 million and handled more than 300 audits.

Ms. Scott is a certified legal assistant through the National Association of Legal Assistants.  She has written articles, conducted seminars, and given lectures on legal cost containment and effective billing practices.
