H. Peter Stoterau (Of Counsel) Mr. Stoterau earned a bachelor of science in business administration/finance from California State University, Northridge, in January 1964, and his juris doctor degree from University of California at Los Angeles, School of Law, in June1967. Mr. Stoterau was formerly a partner in McCutchen, Black, Verleger & Shea and Baker & Hostetler. He served as the Chair of Baker & Hostetler's Los Angeles Office Business Group. He is currently a partner at Jobe & Stoterau in Glendale. In addition, he is of counsel to Knapp, Petersen & Clarke. Mr.Stoterau’s practice is focused on transactional and corporate matters. A member of the Real Estate Section of the State Bar of California, Mr. Stoterau emphasizes commercial and real property transactions in his practice. He represents lenders, commercial and industrial landlords, and tenants and buyers and sellers of commercial and industrial properties. He also practices in the areas of business associations, including partnerships, LLCs, and corporations. Mr. Stoterau’s clients range from Fortune 100 companies listed on major stock exchanges to entrepreneurs starting their first businesses. In the course of his practice, Mr. Stoterau has acted as lead counsel in all aspects of business transactions, including negotiation of, and preparation of documents for, complex real estate and commercial matters. He has represented clients in significant transactions involving the purchase, leaseback and financing with simultaneous closings of multiple office and industrial buildings in several states; has represented borrowers in major secured borrowings from insurance companies, banks, conduit lenders and other lending institutions; has represented major supermarket and department store chains in a variety of matters involving leases and purchases and sales of store locations, reciprocal easement and construction agreements, and various operational matters; has represented two automobile manufacturing companies in connection with acquisition, development and disposition of dealership facilities; and has represented commercial banks and real estate investment trusts in connection with construction and long term lending secured by commercial, multifamily and industrial real estate. In addition, Mr. Stoterau has represented clients in all aspects of commercial and industrial real estate development.
