GRETA T. HUTTON
Ms. Hutton is a 1978 graduate of Stanford University and a 1981 graduate of Columbia Law School. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1982. She is a principal with the firm. Ms. Hutton has over 18 years experience representing creditors in real estate, title, escrow, bankruptcy, commercial disputes, and litigation. She has worked at First Interstate Bank and Chicago Title Company. Ms. Hutton has successfully obtained summary judgments in nondischargeability, relief from stay, equitable subrogation, and other adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court. She has extensive experience obtaining provisional remedies such as preliminary injunctions, attachments, writs of possession, and the appointment of receivers. Ms. Hutton is a past commissioner of the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency (“CRA”), the nation’s largest redevelopment agency. The CRA administers more than thirty-one redevelopment projects and three revitalization areas, which encompass some 20,000 acres throughout the City of Los Angeles. The Agency provides affordable housing and child care citywide. Since the creation of the CRA in 1948, private developers have invested more than $10 billion in the CRA’s redevelopment activities, and the CRA has invested more than $1 billion in these areas. Ms. Hutton represents and advises employers regarding discrimination, disability, termination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, privacy, workplace violence, and similar matters.
