GREGORY LEWIS TORRES

Mr. Torres graduated from California State University at Dominguez Hills in 1993, where he obtained a bachelor of arts in economics and political science.  While at CSUDH, Mr. Torres was recognized for his academic achievements by being placed on the Dean’s List.

After college, Mr. Torres was employed with State Farm Fire and Casualty Company for six years as a casualty adjuster.  During his tenure with State Farm, Mr. Torres participated in the investigation, litigation and negotiation of numerous subject matters, including personal injury, defamation, construction defect, directors and officers liability, and slope failure.

In 2002, Mr. Torres graduated from Southwestern University School of Law.  While at Southwestern, Mr. Torres was acknowledged for significant accomplishments in academics, moot court, and law review.  More specifically, Mr. Torres was placed on the Dean’s List during law school and received an academic scholarship.  In addition, he was a semifinalist oralist at Southwestern’s Intramural Competition and was awarded second place oralist and team at the University of North Carolina Craven Moot Court Competition.  Mr. Torres also acted as Southwestern’s Law Review Special Projects Associate Editor.  Other accomplishments include the publication of “Aberdeen at Ormond Beach v. Volusia County:  Ignoring Reality?” which was nominated for the prestigious Burton Award for Legal Achievement.

In 2002, Mr. Torres was admitted to practice law in California and the federal district court.  As a principal with our firm, Mr. Torres practices in the following areas:  insurance defense, bad faith litigation, complex business litigation, business transactions, debt collection, bankruptcy, employment, real estate, land use and planning, and appeals.
