Mr. Mars graduated from California State University at Northridge with a degree in political science. He obtained his juris doctor degree from the Ventura College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1989. He is a Principal with the firm.
Before joining KPC, Mr. Mars was house counsel for Safeco Insurance for 12 years and brings vast experience from the insurance perspective.
Mr. Mars specializes in the defense of automobile accidents, premises liability, and public entity cases, with an emphasis on suspicious and fraudulent claims. He also has significant experience in the defense of construction defect and mold claims. He has represented hundreds of subcontractors, contractors, and material suppliers.
