Brian P. Neill
Mr. Neill is a Principal with the firm. He has a broad range of litigation experience that includes both trial and appellate work. Mr. Neill received his bachelor of arts in 1980 from the University of California at Los Angeles. He later attended law school, received his juris doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1992.
In addition to his legal background, Mr. Neill was a professional truck driver for over 12 years, after serving as a munitions maintenance specialist with the United States Air Force in Southeast Asia and Germany. He has experience in the operation of various pieces of heavy equipment, including cranes, rough terrain forklifts, tractor-trailer combinations, and other loading equipment used in the handling of conventional military weapons. After his honorable discharge from the USAF, Mr. Neill worked in the freight industry. He supervised a privately-owned trucking company where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of a fleet of trucks hauling salt products out of the Port of Los Angeles to all areas of Southern California. His experience and related education in the transportation and freight handling fields bolster and enhance his successful representation of clients. He is an avid baseball fan, surfer, and motorcyclist.
Mr. Neill’s technical and “hands-on” background provides him with a broad base of expertise when he represents clients in motor vehicle and motorcycle accidents, business disputes, complex multiparty product liability and chemical exposure claims, labor matters, and construction defect cases. With his experience and varied background, he provides clients with exceptional representation encompassing the technical knowledge necessary for more focused, efficient, and ultimately successful litigation.
Mr. Neill is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and serves as an alternative dispute resolution neutral for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
